The Wolverine Solutions was founded on May 5th, 2003 by Loki Prime as a defense contracting corporation. We essentially contract out our military services to the highest bidder, although not without first assessing the risks as well as the potential political clout we may lose or gain by taking a stance to defend someone. We have 6 different divisions - Command, Navy, Trade, Mining, Production and Freelance. The command division holds the major administrative functions within our corporation which include the Board of Directors, Public Relations & Sales Department, Human Resources Department, Marketing Department, Finance Department and Starbase & Hangar Management Department. The Navy is our military arm which carries out our contracts. The trade, mining, production and freelance divisions are supporting divisions of our Navy meant for non-combat oriented players. Executive management that sits on the Board of Directors sets weekly, monthly, quarterly and bi-yearly goals for the corporation and attempts to see the goals carried out. Each division can schedule weekly group operations on our calendar, and it is not uncommon to have at least three operations every week. These operations are meant to generate income for the corporation's coffers and to foster social bonding between members. All members are allowed to join unless mentioned otherwise. Members of the Command Division, except those that reside on the Board of Directors, receive regular weekly salaries for their work in the various command departments. Members of the board receive bonuses for meeting the corporate goals. Divisional members receive bonuses when their division meets or exceeds its goal set by the division head and or the assistant head, as well as other types of payments. The following is our mission statement from chapter 1 section 1 of the WS Corporate Operational Manual: The goal of the Wolverine Solutions (WS) is to provide an organized hierarchical structure which breeds predictability and efficiency in the following activities: 1) Defense of the corporation’s interests, as well as the interests of each of its constituents from the unpredictable and often hostile external forces of the Eve Galaxy. 2) Expansion of wealth and political power of the corporation and each of its constituents through the pursuit of defense contracts and weekly group operations among other activities. 3) The forging of strong social bonds between each of the corporation’s constituents as well as other corporations and macro corporate entities such as, but not limited to, corporate alliances, so as to promote friendly exchanges of information and assets.
