An Equine Dental...here are a few visuals.

The horse is sedated and a mouth gag is in place for a better visual inspection. The mouth is rinsed free of debris with a warmed antiseptic solution.

The horse's head is elevated and Dr. Davies examines all four teeth arcades, gingiva, tongue and cheeks for evidence of oral disease and improper wear.

Dr. Davies uses the power float to "grind" off sharp points and adjust occlusal surfaces.
